Puppeteer. Performer. Playwright.
A Little Bit About Me, Sean P. Mette!
I’ve always loved a good story. I love writing them, performing them and seeing them performed on stage. I am a graduate of Capital University and have been fortunate enough to return as an adjunct professor and guest lecturer.
As a Cincinnati based artist, I am proud to have worked with many of the local theaters including the Know Theatre of Cincinnati, The Carnegie and OTRimprov (of which I am a founding member).
I started my professional theatrical career touring the country for Madcap Puppets. After touring the country, performing in over 25 different puppet shows, with hundreds of performances to thousands of children; I settled back in my hometown to begin creating my own stories and bringing them to life on stage.

S’mores & Dinosaurs YouTube Channel Update
If you are a fan of S’mores & Dinosaurs, you may have noticed that I have taken a hiatus from uploading videos to the channel. This is for a variety of reasons, but primarily, my heart wasn’t in it. I didn’t feel that what I was putting on video was the quality or earnestness that I felt that the videos or audiences deserved.
Although I have planned several videos and shot a few unreleased videos, I still struggle to find the balance of between the content that I want to create and the content that viewers (or more accurately the algorithm) wants to see,
With that being said, my hiatus from the channel will continue. I hope to return to creating content for it someday, but it will be more on a hobby level and not something that is regularly updated.
When I return, I hope that the new videos more accurately showcase what I love about paleontology and the culinary experimentation of the classic campfire treat.
